January through April is typically considered the slowest part of the movie season, but there's
absolutely nothing slow about Haywire, an action packed extravaganza from Oscar winning director, Steven
Soderbergh. Plain and simple, Haywire is a revenge flick. Mallory Kane is a covert operative assigned to
free a hostage in Barcelona. Following the mission, she is quickly double crossed and forced to use any
means necessary to get back to the United States, protect her family, and exact revenge on those looking
to have her eliminated. Starring mixed martial arts tough girl, Gina Carano, Haywire, makes no excuses
about weak plot development. This is pure adrenaline, pure action, and some of the roughest, toughest
fight sequences you'll ever see. No visual aids, no digital tricks, and no stunt doubles. Carano is the
real deal, holding her own against male counterparts like Channing Tatum, Michael Fassbender, and Antonio
Banderas, and giving Haywire a whole lot of punch.
